Monitoring Center of democratic processes is a non-governmental public organization, which has the following goals

  • analysis of the electoral legislation of CIS and foreign countries, the harmonization of national legislation on the basis of democratic standards in the world;
  • systematization of the electoral law and its further improvement;
  • organize monitoring of electoral processes;
  • developed techniques for monitoring the rights of minorities (national, religious, etc.). and organization system for monitoring compliance with the rights of minorities in the Russian Federation and CIS countries.

To achieve these goals the Center monitor the democratic processes of preparing qualified personnel Russian observers to work in international missions, selection and training of observers in neighboring countries, attracted by the cooperation of skilled foreign professionals and foreign non-governmental organizations.

objectives of monitoring the democratic process are:

  • involvement of individuals and non-governmental organizations specializing in the field of democracy studies, from other foreign countries to cooperate on an ongoing basis;
  • establishment of a permanent focal point and mechanism;
  • increase public confidence in the Russian civil society institutions;
  • create conditions for a preventive response to the possible challenges from opponents of Russia’s sovereignty by conducting research and maintaining a continuous monitoring of democratic processes in Russia and abroad.
