CIS-EMO
Commonwealth of the Independent States - Elections Monitoring Organization (CIS-EMO) is registered in Russia in September 2003 as international
- To accomplish monitoring selections, for the purpose of the estimation of the degree of the observance of selective legislation and of democratic principles by participants and the organizers of selections;
- To supervise of the motion of voting, ensuring presence in the sections of observers from the countries of the CIS;
- To inform by accessible means the organs of power of the state, the community of the countries of the CIS about its conclusions, relative to the carried out selections;
- To accomplish monitoring the selective legislation of the countries of the CIS for the purpose of its democratization and unification;
- The highest council, which is formed from the representatives of the countries of the CIS, is the leading organ of organization.
The representatives today enter into the composition of the highest council: Russia, Kazakhstan, Tadzhikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, the Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Azerbaijan. The member of the highest council is simultaneously the representative of organization for his country, which implies the presence in the representative of the possibility of mobilization in its country not less than 50 observers, or the possibility to represent organization in the media of its country. As a rule, the member of the highest council acknowledged in his country authority in the instruction or the realization of observation, that has after the arms is not less than 5 campaigns according to the observation in other countries.
