The European politicians who have arrived to Russia for Uniform day of voting as the international observers under the invitation of the Center of monitoring of democratic processes "Quorum", have met the Chairman of Committee of the State Duma on the international affairs by Konstantin Kosachevym.

The special attention has been given the polsko-Russian relations.

Mister Kosachev has stated the point of view that it is not necessary to direct attention to stories.

«Personally my relation both to tragedy in Katyni, and to Stalin – negative. But I do not agree, when Stalin compare to Hitler and put them in one number», - mister Kosachev has told.

The deputy of the Diet of Poland Boguslav Kovalski has raised the question what the Polish party can make, eventually, considerably to improve relations between two states?

During conversation it has been decided that there is no sense to direct attention to the negative moments of history and it is necessary to think more of economic interaction between Russia and Poland.

«Russia always had good relations with such countries, as Germany or France, without dependence from the one who was at the head of the state, Chirac or Sarkozy, Schröder or Merkel. We are obliged by similar stable relations to close economic relations between our countries. But, unfortunately, in a case with Poland much depends on the country leaders», - Konstantin Kosachev has noted.

In this connection politicians have agreed that mister Kovalski will transfer this conversation to the colleagues in Poland. The deputy of the Diet of Poland has declared that they will initiate an inter-parliamentary meeting between committees on the international affairs.

It will be the first similar meeting which does not have precedents in the history of relations of Russia and Poland. Probably, it becomes the first step to serious changes in relations between two countries.
